Fishing

Badger Creek is located just 20 minutes from the nationally recognized Deschutes River, where opportunities for salmon, steelhead and the redside-rainbow abound.

Our ranches contain 4 large ponds stocked with the Kamloop’s Rainbow Trout for the beginning fly-fisher or the seasoned, fly-fishing enthusiast.

You can also target largemouth bass and giant, black crappie. We can provide you with fishing gear and instruction on where to go and how to catch these fish.

Nymph fishing is generally the norm; however, watching for various hatches throughout the day will also get you into some terrific dry-fly fishing. We use barbless hooks and promote releasing the rainbows back into the water unharmed. Some of these monsters are topping 10 lbs with many fish in the 5-8 lb range! This is a great way to spend the afternoon after a morning bird hunt.

Be sure to visit our links and "hook-up" with experienced, professional guides on the Deschutes River to enjoy our local cast-n-blast opportunities!
